While modern technology has made programming very easy in many fields, some clients still prefer the old ways that ensure the developer is both competent and organised.

A week ago, a lady contacted my company to build her firm a website. We talked, had a clue on what she wanted and then we started the project.

Joshua said to me, “shouldn't we use wordpress for this project since it fits with the niche.” That was an exceptional idea, so for the love of transparency, i chatted the client and she noded in approval.

We incurred $55 expenses by purchasing the theme and we never told her about the cost.

Barely 24 hours into the job, she chatted me.

“Mr Daniel, i just discussed with my IT team and they said you are using a pre-designed theme for the project and that we should cut off the project.” 

She didn't even give me the opportunity to reply before blocking me. Wow!

Wordpress are built by installing theme and plugins. These are the major tools put in place by the CMS(Control Management System) to make building website on wordpress easy.

She obviously had no idea how a wordpress works. But then, it is easy for another developer out there to discourage her by saying “WordPress is bad.”
